of Selected References to 1991 © J.Brent These references were compiled with the object of bringing everything that had been written on the subject of the Gomeran Whistling Language together in one place to aid future scholars in their research. It also gave me the opportunity to address certain controversies and inconsistencies among the various writers on this subject. The hard copy of this book exists in only two places: The Library of Congress in Washington D.C. and in the library in San Sebastián de la Gomera, Canary Islands. Here I have only included my preface and bibliographies. The other photocopied pages in the compilation have been omitted from this website. The serious researcher can find said copies in the full manuscript in the abovementioned locations and/or by researching the articles and books listed in the bibliographies below. Preface to the 7
